.44 Caliber Percussion Slant Breech Loading Rifle. SN# 17487. 22 Inch barrel with ladder style rear sight and hooded blade front sight. Barrel has clear Sharps Factory markings and retains 80% plus original blue. Receiver engraved in a broad scroll pattern on top, on both side panels, on lock and on the hammer. the patch box is engraved as is the lever plate and buttplate tang. Adjustable, double set triggers. Fine bore, excellent mechanics. Handsome oil fiinished stock and forend. gray pewter stock cap. Very handsome rifle that looks like a carbine. Rare factory engraving and fine condition.
