This is a Canadian, WWI, Smith and Wesson 2nd Model Hand Ejector. It is chambered for the .455 Eley Cartridge. These pistols were ordered by the British army in 1916. They procured 69,754 of them and 15,000 of these went to Canada. This pistol is fine to very fine with about 90-95% of it's original blued finish. There is some light holster wear on the high points of the revolver. The bore, chambers, and mechanics are excellent. The grips are quite nice with just some tiny dings. The left side is clearly marked with the Canadian Broad Arrow and an English proof with the Roman numeral II. This indicates the Mk. II .455 chambering.
