FINE, 1889 PRODUCTION WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 RIFLE
Description :
Here is an original, Winchester Model 1873 Rifle chambered for the .32-20 (.32 WCF) cartridge. This rifle was produced in 1889 and is in fine to very fine condition. It retains about 90% of its factory blued finish. There were some small rust spots on the right side of the frame, which, unfortunately look as if they were removed with a pen knife. The markings are crisp and clear. The hammer, lever, and butt plate retain about 50% of their case colors which are fading to gray. There are some light rust speckles on the butt and bottom of the lever. The bore is excellent, bright and shiny. The mechanics work perfectly and the action is tight. The stock, which appears to be varnished, has just a few small dings and scratches from use. This is a fabulous Winchester with great condition. #20650
