Here is an original Model 1892 Winchester Rifle manufactured in 1913 and chambered for the .25-20 WCF cartridge. The Model 1892 was manufactured from 1892-1941. It was the best of the pistol cartridge firing Winchesters. This rifle has a 24" full octagon barrel and is in very good condition. It retains about 40% of its original factory blue, mostly on the lever, magazine tube, and lower barrel flats. The upper barrel flats, butt plate, and receiver have turned brown with a smooth patina. The bore is good, with visible rifling along its length. The mechanics are excellent, with tight lock up. The stock has some nice figure in the wood and is in very good condition. There are a few small dings from use. Overall, this is a nice solid '92 Winchester. Stock no. 21064
