COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER, 1929 MANUFACTURE

This is a first generation Colt Single Action Army Revolver manufactured in 1929 and chambered for the .45 Long Colt cartridge. It is fitted with a 4 3/4" barrel and hard rubber grips. The grips have the oval "Rampant Colt" logo. This revolver is in very good to fine condition. The barrel and ejector housing retain about 20% of their original factory blued finish, primarily in the hollow between the barrel and the housing. The cylinder flutes retain their blue. There are traces of color left on the frame in prorected areas. The remainder of the gun has a combination of smooth brown and pewter patina. The gun has excellent mechanics. The bore and chambers are very good. Both grips are in fine condition with no chips or cracks. There a couple of tiny dings from use. This is solid single action in great mechanical condition.
