This is a Quigley Model 1874 Sharps Rifle manufactured by Pedersoli of Italy and imported by Cimarron Arms of Fredericksburg, Texas. I believe Pedersoli now calls these the "Q Down Under" model (copyrights and all!). This rifle features a 34" blued barrel. The stocks are checkered English walnut with a pewter nose cap and a patchbox in the butt. The action, patchbox, and butt plate are case colored. The rifle has double lever, double set triggers. This rifle is chambered for the .45-120 cartridge. The rifle is in excellent, like new condition in the original box. It retains 100% of its factory finish. The mechanics are excellent and the bore is perfect. The stock is excellent, with just a very tiny ding or two from handling. The box is a little shopworn, but is complete and has protected the rifle admirably! This is a beautiful and very well made rifle in a powerful chambering. It is perfect for those occasions when you need to reach out and touch someone at a thousand yards! And do it with style! Stock no. 18264
