INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER U.S. M-1 GARAND RIFLE

This is an original, U.S. M-1 Garand Rifle manufactured by International Harvester in early 1954 and chambered for the .30-06 Government cartridge. This is a DCM gun and has the usual mixture of parts, such as a Springfield trigger group and a National Match operating rod (DCM used NM op rods as field replacements in the 1970's and 1980's). The rifle is in very fine condition with more than 95% of its parkerized finish remaining. There is some typical light wear on the gas cylinder and a little wear on the high points of the receiver. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The LMR barrel is dated "11-53" and gauges "2" at the muzzle and "1" at the throat. The stock is very fine with an even dark brown finish. There are no markings of any kind, so it is probably a DCM replacement stock. This is a good looking rifle in very nice condition that should shoot well. Stock no. 23299
