VERY FINE, 1958 COLT PYTHON .357 MAGNUM REVOLVER

This is a 6" barreled Colt Python, the flagship revolver of the Colt line-up. The Python was one of the last guns produced that was actually hand fitted. This is an early Python made in 1958. It has the Colt Royal Blue finish and the early fully checkered grips with the gold medallion. It has a 4-digit serial number with no suffix or prefix. The revolver is in very fine to excellent condition. It retains 98% of its factory blued finish with just a touch of light holster wear at the muzzle.The bore and mechanics are excellent. The early grips are excellent as well, with no chips, cracks, or dings. Included is a later Colt hard case. This is a very fine example of one of the finest handguns ever made. Stock no. 23420
