Here is a Walther 1936 "Olympia Model" Target Pistol chambered for the .22 Long Rifle cartridge. Designed for the 1936 Olympic Games, Walther produced these from 1936 until 1940, at which time they shifted to full war-time production. It is a beautiful little pistol, well balanced with wooden thumb rest grips contoured to fit the hand and adjustable target sights. The barrel is 7.4 inches long. It has attachment points for 4 weights that could be purchased for an additional cost. This pistol does not have the weights. The pistol is in fine condition with about 95% of its factory blued finish remaining. There is some light finish wear on the high points of the frame and barrel. The mechanics are excellent with a superb trigger. The bore is excellent, as well. The one-piece wrap-around walnut target grip is very fine with just a tiny ding or two from use. The gun is all matching including the magazine. This is a very high-quality target pistol that is not often seen. Stock no. 29799
