EXCELLENT PERUVIAN MODEL 1935 SHORT RIFLE, .30-06, ALL MATCHING

This is a Peruvian Model 1935 Short Rifle manufactured by FN of Belgium. It is a standard FN export rifle. Originally chambered for the 7.65x53mm cartridge, Peru rechambered a large number of them in the 1950's to fire the American .30-06 cartridge. This is one of the .30 caliber rifles. This rifle is in excellent condition with all matching numbers. It retains about 95% of its blued finish with some light wear on the high edges of the front sight and on the magazine floor plate. The bolt remains armory bright and the butt plate has a gray steel patina. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The stock is very fine to excellent with just a few tiny dings from use. It is numbered to the gun. Included is an original leather sling in good condition. These rifles are usually found with mismatched numbers. If you need a Peruvian Model 1935, you will be hard pressed to find a better example. Stock no. 29886
