FINE WALTHER P1 PISTOL, 9MM, W/HOLSTER

This is a Walther P1 double-action semi-automatic Pistol manufactured in 1977 and chambered for the 9mm Parabellum cartridge. The P1 was the post-war commercial version of the P.38. It saw wide-spread use with police agencies and with East German forces in the Cold War era. The P1 had a lightweight alloy frame and black checkered plastic grips. It was available with either a blue or phosphate finish. This pistol has a dark gray phosphate finish with a black frame. It is in very fine condition with about 98% of its finish remaining. There are just a a few tiny scuffs in the matte finish on the slide and barrel. The gun has excellent mechanics and a perfect, mirror bright bore. The grips are in fine condition with no chips or cracks. There is some light wear and scuffing from use. Included is an original East German Camouflage Nylon Holster in excellent condition.
