This is a Winchester Model 94 Carbine made in 1949 and chambered for the .25-35 Winchester cartridge. Known as America's Deer Rifle, the Model 94 is one of the most popular hunting rifles ever produced. Those made prior to 1964, like this one, are particularly well made with excellent fit and finish. This rifle is in very fine condition with more than 98% of its factory blued finish remaining. There is a hint of finish wear on the edges of the frame at the carry point. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The stock is in fine condition with a few small scratches on the left side. This is an outstanding example of a pre-64 Winchester Model 94. Stock no. 32864
