.54 Caliber Percussion US Martial Long Arm Smoothbored out to .58 Caliber like so many I've seen. Original configuration with no bayonet lug, brass tipped trumpet shaped ram rod and simple post rear sight. Moderate salt and peppering around the bolster. Crisp 1852 dated Robbins and Lawrence lock. Very handsome brass furniture. Good solid stock with two visible cartouches at the left flat. Original sling swivels and ram rod.
