.52 Caliber Breechloading Military Rifle. SN# 38727. Very good condition overall with a nice dark age patina. Clear markings on lock, barrel and sight base. Fine bore, excellent mechanics. Complete with sight, sling swivels, Lawrence pellet cover etc. etc. Dark original stock with iron patchbox. Stock is slightly worn but is nice and solid. Rifle has the under muzzle lug for Saber Bayonet. "1861" Dated 24 3/4 Inch brass hilted saber bayonet is included. Left riccasso marked with the Collins & Co. Hartford address. Bayonet is also in very good condition.
